I never cease to be amazed at my cell phone and the ability it has to do things: it self-corrects, reminds me of appointments, keeps me connected to family and friends, stores photos by the thousands, talks to me, and offers advice on anything and everything, sort of like a best friend, but not. I can’t think of much that our cell phones can’t do except the laundry. The things that we now have at our fingertips in this twenty-first century truly are amazing. When I see the Lord at work in my life and in the lives of others, I think to myself, “ I am amazed.” Like our cell phones, he corrects, he reminds, he listens, he connects, he is our best friend. Amazing! I am amazed! But then I remember nothing is impossible for God, and my amazement turns to assurance. He will never fail us. He is there, he is always there.
